Kingsley Estate is a great destination for all kinds of groups including celebration groups, multi generational families and corporate. These holiday houses near Cheddar Gorge, and just 30 minutes from Bath and Bristol, are easily accessible from major road and rail routes, a consideration for guests travelling from different parts of the UK. Set in 2 acres of gardens and grounds, Kingsley is perfect for weekends away or big birthdays when everyone wants to be together. And there are fantastic on-site amenities including a sports bar, full size pool table and hot tubs for some fun and relaxation, or for a private house party.

Both properties provide ground floor accommodation, a consideration for any guest with minor mobility issues. Kitchens are modern and sleek, well equipped and perfect for preparation of group meals. Living space is open plan, light, airy and spacious. Lake View has a large lounge with wood burner as well as a smaller snug for Sky Full Package and Netflix viewing. These houses are suitable for business gatherings too with large rooms for board meetings andf smaller breakaway spaces for group activities and team building. Of course the design is also ideal for mixed ages wanting choice and privacy.

The 7 bedrooms can be configured to suit with a twin, triples and even a sleeps 6. The bedrooms are not short on space at all, and are stylish with pretty soft furnishings - perfect for unwinding after a busy day. 3 have en suite luxury bathroom facilities with high quality fixtures and fittings.

Take a stroll into Chew Stoke just a mile away from the estate and drop in to The Stoke Inn for a pint and some decent pub food. Chew Valley Lake is on the doorstep offering water sports as well as circular walks and cycle routes. Chew Magna is a 5 minute drive and well worth a visit for a choice of eateries and convenience store. Visit nearby Wookey Hole Caves and Cheddar Gorge, both very impressive and for all ages. Bristol and Bath are both within half an hour, fabulous for shopping and cultural attractions.

Booking Information

30% deposit to secure booking with balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Minimum stay 2 nights.
Check in after 3pm. Check out by 10am.
The refundable damage deposit is most cases is £500 per house.

Located about 5 minutes from the village of Chew Magna. 30 minutes from Bristol and Bath. Good transport links via the A39 and M4/M5.

  • Unfortunately there are no local buses.
  • Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station can be reached within 30 minutes.
  • Bristol is around 30 minutes from the properties.
  • Chew Magna has a Co-op supermarket.
  • There is a choice of pubs and eateries in Chew Magna including a fish restaurant.
  • Bristol Airport is just a 10 minute drive.
