Plas Y Bryn is a development centered on a large traditional Welsh manor house located on a hill above the royal town of Caernarfon on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and minutes from the beach. The 3 separate large units that can be booked as a whole to provide the perfect venue for celebrations including weddings, with a function room for up to 120 guests.

The grounds offer plenty of space to explore, in particular the pretty ancient woodland and an extensive shared lawned area, popular with the children. There are plenty of benches and seating outside, great places for barbecues or evening drinks.

All kitchens are fully equipped to make meal prep easy although chef Raquel can come in and cook for a special occasion. The dining rooms are wonderfully sociable spaces with long wooden tables where a large group can eat together. Retire to the lounges after dinner where there is plenty of comfy seating and large flat screen TVs. Or head to the games rooms in each property for pool, air hockey or a game of cards at the casino table. Lloyd George has a bar room that is a great spot for a party.

Accommodation is a convenient mix of doubles, twins and family rooms with some zip and links. There's a romantic 4 poster in Lloyd George but all bedrooms have stylish soft furnishings and decor. Each bedroom has its own contemporary en suite with a freestanding bath, walk in shower or both. The Bevan benefits from having 6 ground floor en suite bedrooms, ideal for any guests less mobile.

Plas y Bryn is a great base for exploring this most beautiful part of North Wales. The heritage town of Caernarfon with its spectacular riverside castle is a must see for a wander through narrow streets full of independent shops and cafes as well as a developed waterfront. For keen walkers, Snowdon can be reached within half an hour, as well as a whole range of adventure destinations including Surf Snowdonia. Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula are within easy reach with hikes along the Welsh Coastal Path and fantastic sandy beaches. Countless options for a fantastic holiday or weekend with family or friends.
