This remarkable Regency property near Camborne is a very special wedding venue for an intimate celebration and ceremony. Set in 6 acres of beautiful grounds and mature gardens, this beautiful house provides the perfect backdrop for the big day. The grand entrance hall sets the scene with a marble floor and pillars and a roaring open fire, perfect for a wedding or drinks reception. A stunning palatial spiral staircase is a dream arrival for any bride.
Roswarne has a number of rooms to choose from for a ceremony, including the grand ballroom with fabulous long windows and a grand piano for wedding musical accompaniment, or even the Marble Hall can be set up for a ceremony.
The impressive curved orangery is perfect for the wedding breakfast, seating up to 50 guests. This room gets the sun all day and is conveniently close to the kitchen for catering purposes. The Drawing Room offers somewhere to gather or sit back and relax on the luxury sofas for a breather between the revelries and French doors lead onto the sun terrace where there is further seating.
Outside there are many favourite corners for photos. The front face of Roswarne has pillars and steps, ideal for a whole group snap, as are the pretty formal gardens beside the house. Photos from the Terrace.
Venue hire at Roswarne for a wedding is on a Friday to Monday 3 night basis and offers the opportunity for everyone involved to have an extended stay. The accommodation for up to 18 guests is luxurious in 10 double bedrooms and plenty of opulent bathroom facilities. Make the most of being together on a self catering or catered basis, using the lovely living rooms and the grounds for family fun and enjoyment.
The location of Roswarne is ideal as a base for exploring West Cornwall. The beach at St Ives Bay is only 4 miles away, or the seaside town of St Ives can be reached in 20 minutes for a post celebration brisk walk to blow away the cobwebs.

2 well behaved dogs welcome.

On the ground floor, there is a slope to a side entrance allowing easy access. Each bathroom is up a small step excepting one which is up a slope.

WiFi

There are 2 WiFi systems, one in the drawing room and one in the ballroom. We have good mobile reception.

Kitchen

4 small kitchens, dishwashers, American style large fridges, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Aga, catering kitchen. Separate room with wash/machines.

Dining Room

The curved orangery has many chairs and seating for up to 50 people. A wonderful space for breakfast and dinner.

Sitting Room

A very large room with a number of sofas, chairs and small tables. There are mirrors and pictures on the walls.

TV and Music Facilities

There are TVs in each suite, a piano for your use in the ballroom, and plenty of sockets for sound systems.

Games Room

There is no games room.

Heating and Open Fires

There is a lovely open fire in the hallway and gas central heating throughout.

Bedrooms

Upstairs - 5 large double beds and one single. There is one en suite, one bathroom and one shower room. Downstairs - 3 doubles and one single.

Linen

We use fine cotton white linen sheets and duvet covers, 2 pillows each, a bath robe and pair of slippers per person.

Bathrooms

7 altogether, only one en suite. 3 baths and 5 showers.

Children's Facilities

Board games, croquet and lots of trees to climb.

Outdoor

Croquet, walks and plenty of garden furniture.

Swimming Pool

There is no pool.

Room for 8 cars; if you have more, please ask.

Changeover days usually Friday and Monday, from 4pm to 11am, damage deposit £1,000 plus £50 per dog.
If you’d like to hold a party or wedding with more people, there is an extra charge per person.

Location

In 6 acres of lawns and woodland but a level walk from the town and just 5 miles from the coast on St Ives Bay. Near sandy beaches, National Trust properties, lovely St Ives.

Camborne with easy reach of St Ives, Penzance and Helston.
We have an Aldi, Tesco, all within walking distance.
Less than a mile away is Tyacks Hotel - also the Sir John Francis Basset - and a number of pubs.
Newquay airport is 28 miles away, but we also have room for helicopters to land on the front lawn.
Camborne Station is about a mile away.
Again less than a mile to the bus station.
