This private, idyllic 5-acre meadow is a wonderful choice for friends and families to spend some time together making the most of peace and tranquillity in an inspiring location. Wild Meadow Glamping provides 8 luxury yurts for accommodation as well as communal facilities for group cooking, dining and socialising. The Turnip Tent undercover kitchen is a fantastic space to prepare some tasty fare to enjoy in the shared dining area. Chill out and relax over a drink while the kids sit around the impressive fire pit toasting marshmallows and making the most of big Norfolk skies for stargazing.

The 8 yurts, named after wildflowers, are very comfortable and spacious places to stay, with superking beds for adults and singles for children. The tasteful design and elegant soft furnishings ooze opulence. Two of the larger units have en suite showers and the others have individually allocated showers and WCs. There is also a log fired hot tub on site for you to use and with plenty of outside space for each yurt; barbecues and a seating area for informal dining outside each yurt. All units are located in the wildflower meadow at Raynham but are sufficiently spread out to ensure peace and privacy as well as lots of opportunities to be together and have fun. Two of the yurts are dog-friendly.

Wild Meadow Glamping is the sort of place you don't really want to leave. There is so much space for the youngsters to run around and lots of fabulous walks from the site. However, Whatahoot Distillery and Gin School, Burn Valley Vineyard and Duration Brewery are within easy reach and well worth a visit. The Norfolk Coastal Path and stunning beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are around 30 minutes away, great for a bucket and spade day or some watersport activities.

Facilities

Dog Friendly

Dogs are welcome in Poppy for £35 per stay. Always keep dogs on a lead and please don't allow them in the communal kitchen.

Accessibility

Corncockle and Clover are wheelchair friendly.

WiFi

There is no WiFi although 4g coverage is good.

Kitchen

Each yurt comes with a barbecue. The shared outdoor kitchen is well equipped with a small fridge/freezer for each yurt, pots, pans and crockery.

Dining Room

The Turnip Tent is an undercover communal dining area with seating. Tipi can be hired for events.

Sitting Room

Each yurt has seating indoor and out.

TV and Music Facilities

Electricity in each yurt and The Turnip Tent with lamps and USB ports.

Heating and Open Fires

There is a wood burner in each yurt and a communal fire pit near the Turnip Tent.

Bedrooms

3 yurts sleep 4 with a superking and 2 singles. 5 yurts sleep 5 with a superking and 3 singles. 2 are en suite.

Linen

Please bring your own towels. Bedding for the superking is provided but children's singles are charged at £20 per stay.

Bathrooms

Corncockle and Clover have en suite shower rooms. Allocated separate toilets and showers for other yurts.

Children's Facilities

No specific facilities but the site is great for families who love exploring nature.

Outdoor

Each yurt has a barbecue and seating. The Turnip Tent has undercover seating. 5 acres of meadow to explore.

Swimming Pool

There is no pool. Shepherd's Purse has a wood-fired hot tub

Parking

Ample off road secure parking.

Smoking

Please don't smoke inside the yurts. Allocated spaces outside.

Booking Information

A deposit of 15% secures your booking, with the balance payable 30 days before arrival. Minimum stay 2 nights. Arrive between 4pm and 6pm, check out by 10am. Up to 4 dogs welcome on site, and must stay in our two dog friendly yurts. Smoking only in designated areas.

Located on Raynham Estate just under 300m off the A1065 coast road. Fakenham is under 10 minutes and Swaffham 20 minutes. Wells, Holkham and Norfolk Coastal Path 45 minutes. Norwich in an hour.

Fakenham is under 10 minutes away.
Fakenham has a good selection of supermarkets including Tesco Superstore, Morrisons and Aldi.
Nearest pub is at Sculthorpe Mill 3 miles away. Fakenham has a range of pubs and eateries. The Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham is 10 minutes and highly recommended.
Norwich Airport is 45 minutes.
