Group Accommodation Laugharne
Inextricably linked with Dylan Thomas, thanks to the poet and his wife raising their children there, Laugharne in south Carmarthenshire is still a sleepy town, where you can’t help but feel the links to the past as you stroll around. From the boathouse that inspired so much of Thomas’s work, to the hotel where he did much of his drinking, and his final resting place at St Martin’s Church, the town is a must for Thomas fans. Each year there’s a Laugharne Weekend which packs literary and musical talent into the little town too. Away from the Thomas legacy, you can also explore the rugged castle that overlooks the Taf estuary.
