Kidwelly Farm Cottages is a wonderful family holiday destination in the heart of beautiful Carmarthenshire close to fabulous beaches, castles and walking routes. Y Felin is a contemporary barn conversion retaining original features including vaulted ceilings and oak beams, while providing lovely open plan living for a large gathering. The 2 shepherds huts add to the offering with 2 very special places to stay, perfect for couples or those wanting their own space. Y Felin has a fully equipped kitchen with a sociable dining table for 10. If there are more guests wishing to eat together, tables and chairs in the Cowshed barn provide a communal space, perfect for a barbecue or summer feast. Each of the units has its own luxury hot tub for relaxing outdoors and taking in the rural views. Sit outside on garden furniture preparing supper on the barbecue while the kids play in the enormous designated play area making the most of the trampoline, swing and ride-on buggies.

Accommodation is very comfortable with a mix of kings, singles and twins. They are all individually designed with colourful soft furnishings and convenient en suites. Y Felin has an accessible ground floor bedroom with a wet room, for anyone with mobility limitations in a mixed age group. There are TVs in all of Y Felin's bedrooms.

The shepherds huts are self contained with outdoor seating and firepits.

The games barn has a ping pong table and a large blackboard for aspiring artists to draw on.

Pembrey Country Park is just 10 minutes away, definitely worth a visit to enjoy the 7 mile sandy beach, a dry ski slope and adventure playground. Venture into Pembrokeshire within an hour for a day out in Tenby. Penclacwydd Wetland Centre in Llanelli is an interesting family attraction where you can see impressive acrobatics from swallows, swifts and sand martins, and if you are lucky a sighting of a kingfisher or wild otter.
