These riverside holiday houses near Ely in Cambridgeshire, sleeping up to 18 guests over four cottages, are a great choice for friends & family weekend breaks, celebrations, hen parties and holidays. All accommodation is ground floor making it popular with multi-generational families and those with mobility issues. Willow Cottage's indoor dining tables are large enough to seat all 18 guests for you to enjoy a meal together. After dinner, the youngsters might opt to spend time in Willow's cinema room or games room where there is a games console & large TV for films.

All cottages have their own private gardens. Willow has outside seating and dining area large enough for everyone to congregate for a barbecue or patio drinks. A hot tub can be hired in for stays of 2 days or more. All four cottages are powered via ground or air heat source pumps and solar panels for underfloor heating, creating warm, sociable and cosy contemporary open plan living areas.

Bedrooms offer superkings, kings, doubles. Many beds can be split to make twins for flexibility. Two master bedrooms in the larger cottage have en suites and dressing rooms. Each bedroom has stylish soft furnishings, pocket sprung mattresses, guaranteed to provide a good night's sleep after a busy day. Facilities are plentiful and convenient with a good combination of en suites, shower rooms and family bathrooms.

Gravel Farm is less than a 15-minute drive from the cathedral city of Ely and 30 minutes from Cambridge, both fascinating with plenty of historic attractions to discover. Its location alongside the Great River Ouse provides opportunities for walking, canoeing, fishing and birdwatching without having to reach for the car keys. Stretham is a short distance away with the chance to have a look at Stretham Old Engine, a steam pump that was used to drain water from the Fens and Wicken Fen, the oldest nature reserve in the UK which is just a stone's throw away.

Willow has enough space to seat 18 guests. Chestnut and Elm - dining for 2 guests each. Oak - dining for 4. All have outside dining and comfy seating

Sitting Room

Willow - open plan lounge with log stove and TV. Chestnut and Elm - studio space with comfy chairs and TV. Oak - open plan with comfy sofas and TV.

TV and Music Facilities

Willow has a Smart TV. Wide screen Freeview TVs in other properties. Willow has a cinema room with a sofa, Wii and DVDs.

Willow - underfloor heating and a log stove. Chestnut and Elm - radiator heated via ground source heat pump. Oak - radiator heated via ground source.

Bedrooms

Willow: 2 SK with ES, 2 SKs, 1 sofa bed. All can be singles. Chestnut - 1 king. Elm - 1 double. Oak - 2 king, 1 can be twin. All ground floor.

Linen

High quality bedding and thick bath sheets are provided.

Bathrooms

Willow - large family bathroom with big bath and shower. 2 en suites and 1 WC. Chestnut and Elm - bath and shower room. Oak - shared shower room.

Children's Facilities

High chair, travel cot and toddler bed all available by prior arrangement. Children's cutlery, tableware. Cinema room with Wii and DVDs in Willow.

Outdoor

All cottages have enclosed gardens with comfy fairy-lit seating with BBQ. Hot tub can be hired for stays of 2 days or more.

Parking

Ample on site secure parking is provided.

Please don't smoke inside the properties.

Located just a 15 minute drive form the city of Ely and 30 minutes to Cambridge. Accessed via the main A10. 5 minutes from the village of Stretham and 30 minutes from Bury St Edmunds. Coast an hour.

Stretham is 5 minutes away and Ely 15 minutes.
Stretham has a convenience store. Ely has a Tesco Superstore and Sainsburys. Online delivery available.
The Maid's Head, Wicken, The Red Lion, Stretham and Five Miles From Anywhere No Hurry Inn are both around 5 minutes.
Stansted Airport is 50 minutes away.
Ely Railway Station is 15 minutes approximately.
