Hen Felin is a gorgeous mill house recently renovated to create super cool holiday accommodation on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's an ever popular location to get together for an important birthday or anniversary as well as a fantastic holiday destination close to the best beaches and North Wales attractions.

Guests will instantly sense the welcoming feel of this lovely property in the entrance hall through to the open plan living layout. An attractive fully equipped kitchen complete with granite worktops and quality appliances works well for self catering and shared meals at the inside dining table. And on warmer evenings make use of the barbecue or the pizza oven on the patio and toast some marshmallows with the kids over the firepit. The emphasis in the lounge is on total relaxation, a soft cowhide bean bag or colourful leather sofas next to a wood stove with Persian rugs dotted about for extra cosyness. Fab.

Contemporary 'Cwtch' Welsh design is the theme for warm, comfortable and very spacious bedrooms, combining modern Egyptian cotton bed linen with traditional use of tapestries. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with an en suite shower so suitable for anyone less mobile in the gathering. The 3 kings and 2 twins provide plenty of choice for everyone in a mixed group. Bathrooms are plentiful with 2 rainfall shower rooms and a family bathroom with bath and shower over.

A short drive from Hen Felin is the coastal village of Aberdaron, boasting a long beach, 2 pubs and some interesting shops. Abersoch is 20 minutes away, a traditional beach hut kind of place with shallow sailing waters and water sports opportunities. Climbing Snowdon, the highest peak in England and Wales, has to be on the radar and a holiday must do along with a number of adventure experiences such as Surf Snowdonia, Zip World or Bounce Below. Caernarfon Castle is a very impressive historic attraction, a fortress-palace on the banks of the River Seiont. Got to be seen.

A £200 refundable security deposit is required. Up to 2 dogs are allowed for £25 per stay. £200 deposit when booking with balance to be paid six weeks before arrival. Check in 4 pm (please feel free to contact us for an earlier check in, we will do our best) and check out 10 am on departure day.

Aberdaron has a Spâr. Tudweiliog has a well stocked small shop and post office. Sarn has a garage, shop and butchers.
Aberdaron has The Ship Inn and The Ty Newydd Hotel. Tudweiliog has the farm shop Cwt Tatws, located by Towyn beach. The Lion Pub, Tudweiliog and the Ty Coch is at Porthdinllaen.
