Craflwyn Hall is set within a 200 acre estate near Beddgelert in the heart of beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia). Managed by the National Trust, this traditional Victorian house has oodles of character and is filled with original features including beautiful Arts and Crafts fire places and wood and tile floors. With all contemporary extras to ensure a comfortable stay, there's plenty of space at Craflwyn Hall for a large group of friends or family to come together to celebrate a special occasion or for a holiday.
Sleeping 16 guests, and welcoming 4 dogs too, Craflwyn Hall has large social rooms for everyone to be together, with smaller options for privacy or a little peace and quiet. The dining room seats the whole group making this the perfect venue for a celebratory feast. There are 8 bedrooms, all luxuriously furnished with antique furniture, and most with en suite facilities. Ramp access to the Hall is available making the Hall accessible to wheelchair users, although all bedrooms are at first floor level.
There is also a large cellar drying room - ideal after a day's walking in the hills! - and a dog shower too.
Outside are extensive lawns which are perfect for family games, as well as a covered veranda made for al fresco dining. The gardens have wonderful views across the surrounding area towards the mountains of Snowdonia. Walks from the door will take you through woodland, past lakes and waterfalls and on to the summit of Snowdon for those seeking a challenge.
For larger groups, there are 6 cottages available in the former stable block on the estate - a stone's throw from the Hall and ideal for multi generational group members or those with young families. The Hall and surrounding cottages can provide accommodation for 39 guests.
