A tennis court, playground and skate park are at the top of the large carpark.

A 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the harbour takes you to English Heritage St Mawes Castle and grounds. Across the waters of Carrick Roads towards Falmouth you can see Pendennis Castle, where several events are held throughout the year, including a Medieval fete complete with jousting.
