FAQ’s

Are dogs allowed at the property?

This is dependent on the property, and when it comes to forest locations it’s quite mixed so make sure to double check. A number of the properties are very happy for you to bring your dog along with you, however, for the properties set right in the heart of the forest, safety of the wildlife is at the top of the priority list, in which case they may be pet free.

Are BBQs allowed

Again, dependant on the property, however the majority of properties that we’ve listed above do have their own BBQ’s on site which you can take full advantage of. It’s always worth double checking with the owners before you buy the burgers en route just in case!

Do I need to pack anything special for a forest holiday?

Because of the natural rural location of these properties, we’d recommend bringing along a pair of sturdy walking boots so you can’t trip over any tree roots, something warm to pop on in the evenings while you’re enjoying some stargazing or toasting marshmallows round the fire, and a torch in case you need to pop outside after dark.

Is there any Wifi / phone signal?

This is largely dependent on how rural a location you choose. However a lot of the properties listed above aim to give you a digital detox while on holiday. This means that in the majority of cases there is wifi available in some parts of the site but not all, it also means that phone signal may be somewhat sporadic.
