Group Accommodation Llandrindod Wells
Often shortened to simply ‘Llandod’, this spa town sits pretty much at the centre of Wales and is one of the largest market towns in Powys. There’s an annual Victorian Festival in August, and the town also hosts the Heart of Wales Walking Festival. Due to its location, it’s often either the start or finish for many car, bike and cycle rallies too. Attractive and elegant Victorian and Edwardian terraces take you back in time to the town’s heyday as a spa centre. To find out more about its spa-resort past, then head to Rock Park with your group. This was the best known spa in Wales, and has recently been restored to its Victorian splendour. There’s also a lake with an impressive serpent sculpture in the centre. If you don’t feel like exploring on foot, then the town is part of the Heart of Wales Line, so hop on board to discover one of the most scenic routes in Britain running between Swansea and Shrewsbury.
