Rising like fairy-tale turrets, the British Oast is a well-loved feature of the Kent and Sussex countryside which happens to make a great home too. Ashbourne Oast can sleep up to 10 people.

The house has a large living area, modern stone bathroom and full kitchen facilities. The floors are oak boarded or stone and both the bedroom and living rooms of the annexe have large glass double doors which open onto the garden which includes a lawn area, ideal for barbecues.

This large property offers all the benefits of the peaceful countryside with easy access to local and regional towns. It is set in an elevated position and has far reaching and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.The historic market town of Battle is a 7 minute drive away.

The hot tub is available for use with a surcharge payable on arrival. This covers heating, cleaning, chemicals and maintenance costs.
We have many family parties, anniversaries and celebrations at Ashbourne Oast, but the house is not suitable for loud parties with loud music. If you think your party will be loud, this is not the property for you.

We enjoy living here because of its proximity to the beautiful historic town of Battle, it gives us the peace of the countryside with easy access to the coast and larger towns of Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells for shopping. London can be reached easily by the local mainline stations.
