Bodlondeb Studio & Retreat is a beautifully converted old stable nestled beneath the rolling hills of North Wales with an adaptable studio space and accommodation sleeping up to 12 guests across 3 bedrooms.

Please note - this is not a party venue.

We're more than you might think.

This house and studio venue near Snowdonia is a real treat. The site is cosy, there’s no denying that, but we’ve thoroughly enjoyed finding ways to give you as many adaptable options as possible to help you come together as a group whilst offering you spaces of solitude and spaces to breathe. The kitchen is well set up for self catering and you can enjoy dinner together in the studio or on the balcony with amazing countryside views.

Sharing sleeping accommodation can feel daunting so we’ve put lots of thought into how we can make it as comfortable and safe as possible for your ease of mind. The bunking has been custom built and includes:
- Comfy mattress (sprung and memory foam options)
- Reading light
- Privacy curtains
- Shelving space within your bunk
- Plug socket
- Complimentary earplugs
- Stairs instead of ladders

Each en suite has a shower, toilet and sink (and sound proof insulation!).

Here at Bodlondeb we offer retreats too - build your own experience by contacting providers direct, or we can coordinate for you. Choose from a wide range of activities, including:

- Canoeing or tubing
- Cold water dipping and wild swimming
- Awesome walks (with great guides if you wish) and mountaineering
- Foraging for edible medicinal herbs and craft materials, with workshops in basketweaving, felting...
- Brewery tastings
- Rescue husky sledding
- Pottery
- Yoga
- Fitness and mindfulness coaching

Or head to Snowdonia for an adventure or to explore Betws-y-Coed, or the coast. Pub close by too.

Your host offers a warm welcome and is on hand.

Facilities

WiFi

We have internet but no phone line. Phone signal is limited too so it's a lovely chance to put phones away and breathe.

Disabled Facilities

All bedrooms are downstairs, as is the studio. The kitchen and balcony are upstairs.

Dog Friendly

As a general rule we don’t accept pets; however, depending on the pet we may be open to welcoming one for a fee to cover extra cleaning costs.

Kitchen

The kitchen is small but you'll soon find your groove and it's fully kitted out with everything you'll need.

Dining Room

You can dine in the studio (using the large fold out table), the snug, the patio or the balcony.

Sitting Room

The snug is in the same space as the kitchen. Comfy and cosy with colourful deep seating where you can play cards, hang out and access the balcony.

TV and Music Facilities

We do not provide a TV here, but we do provide plenty of board games! And you’ll find a bluetooth speaker in the kitchen too.

Games Room

Our studio can be turned into whatever you wish it to be. You might want to bring the games down or use it to do your morning yoga.

Heating and Open Fires

Everywhere downstairs has underfloor heating and each room can be controlled individually.

Bedrooms

There are 3 bedrooms, each with bunking for 4 people and an en suite shower. With individual curtains each bed is a little pod, people love them!

Linen

Bedding, hand and kitchen towels provided but no shower towels.

Bathrooms

There is one toilet in the main space and each bedroom has its own en suite with shower, sink and toilet.

Children's Facilities

Children over 5 are welcome at your own risk. There is no railing around the studio roof which is accessible with a little climbing.

Outdoor

The patio and balcony provide stunning views of the rolling hills. There’s seating for you all, fairy lights, a hammock and BBQ.

Swimming Pool

There is no pool.

Parking

You can stack 6 or 7 cars up our drive if you're clever and the rest can be parked down the road.

Smoking

No smoking inside please but you can smoke outside so long as you clear the ends away when you leave.

Booking Information

Our rates are:
£395/night for up to 8 people (minimum 2 nights).
£15/night for any additional person (minimum 2 nights).
£200 security deposit, returned immediately after leaving.
Secure your date with a £250 non-refundable deposit.
Lower rates for mid week dates out of holidays.
