Located on the western end of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) it's a perfect spot for exploring the southern part of Snowdonia National Park and beyond. Although it doesn't have direct lake access, the various beaches around the lake are a short drive, walk or bike-ride away. Locally there are a million things you could do: walking the various mountain peaks (Aran 885m, Arenig 854m), local hills, taking part in adventure activities on the lake, riding the Bala Lake Railway, fishing, cycling, or travelling further afield to partake in adrenaline fuelled activities like the ziplines or visit the lovely beaches on the coast.
