Dittisham Hideaway is dog friendly so you can bring the family pooch too. The variety of glamping units works well for families who might opt for a treehouse sleeping 5 and grandparents who may prefer the design of a 1950s Airstream.
Attention has been paid equally to inside and outside living in all of the units. The 4 treehouses have wrap around decks with sun loungers, dining table, barbecue, wood fired hot tubs and games. The shepherds lodges have terraces with cedar wood fired hot tubs and al fresco dining areas. The Airstream is in a secluded spot and has an outdoor Japanese wood-fired oak spa bath for total indulgence. Inside, the emphasis is on creating a comfortable glamping experience with well equipped kitchens, dining for the number of guests each unit sleeps and the all important wood stoves. The Airstream adds another dimension with burnt orange leather seats and retro design.
Beds range from kings and doubles to bunks, lovely rooms with wood finishes and attractive soft furnishings. The children's shepherds lodge is connected to Beech Lodge with a video intercom, ideal for keeping an eye while allowing den fun and a bit of independence. Bathroom facilities are plentiful with power showers inside the accommodation.

Dittisham, Dartmouth and the South Hams are known for excellent restaurants and offer plenty of places where your group can celebrate a special occasion. Or take a stroll to The Red Lion Inn or Ferry Boat Inn in Dittisham with the reward of a pint at the end of the walk and a waterside position to boot. Dartmouth has 2 beaches next to Dartmouth Castle, Castle Cove and Sugary Cove, great for rock pooling, building sandcastles and trying out stand up paddle boarding. Torquay and the English Riviera can be reached within 50 minutes. For avid walkers and cyclists, Dartmoor is 30 minutes away with no end of exciting adventure trails and some very cute mountain ponies.
