Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Gilmore Townhouse, Edinburgh, Lothian, Scotland, sleeps 5 - 18 in 7 bedrooms.

This 19th century townhouse offers a large self catering holiday house in Edinburgh in a great central location just 10 -15 minutes walk from all major city centre attractions. This house is perfect for big groups including family, friends, rugby fans and EICC groups. Events and parties are allowed (for numbers within the house limit) but no loud noise after 10pm please in order to respect our neighbours. Hen and stag party groups are also welcome.

The accommodation is split over 3 floors. The ground floor comprises the fitted kitchen with all necessary equipment, a dining room seating 10, a living room with a further small dining table and seating for everyone, family room and 2 toilet bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms with toilet bathroom on each of the 1st and 2nd floor. In total there are 7 double beds and 4 single beds which can accommodate 18 guests. There is central heating in all rooms.

The garden at the rear of the property has outdoor furniture where guests can enjoy drinks and meals in summer time.

Gilmore Townhouse is situated in a nice residential street full of guest houses and is surrounded by a variety of amenities - restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, theatre, cinema, late opening convenience stores are all within a 5 minute walk. All city centre attractions are only a 10-15 minute walk away too. The Caledonian Canal is only 100 yards away behind the house and The Meadows park is a great place to relax with family or friends to enjoy summer time, only 200 yards away. The tourist attraction Arthur's Seat is a 30 minute walk away.

Excellent transport services are available 24 hours, with the main bus service to the city centre running from just outside the house. Also excellent connectivity to the airport and Waverley Railway Station via taxi, bus or tram.

Gilmore Townhouse is a self check in property so guests can check in at their own convenience.

Linen is provided for all beds. One towel per person is provided, extras can be requested at £2 each.

4 toilets and bathrooms over 3 floors with walk in shower. Basic toiletries including shampoo, body wash, hand wash, toilet paper are provided.

Back garden with outdoor furniture. Kitchen opens onto the garden so guests can enjoy meals and drinks outside on sunny days.

There is no pool.

Parking

On-street paid parking is available in front of house and all side roads - payable from 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, otherwise free.

Smoking

Strictly No Smoking Zone inside. Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are fitted. Outside the entrance or in the back garden smoking is allowed.

Booking Information

No minimum stay. Check in from 3pm, out by 9am. Friday changeover for weekend bookings. Damage deposit £300. 20% deposit to secure booking, balance due 1 month before stay.
