The magnificent entrance hall and elegant staircase won't fail to impress. A stylish drawing room is light and spacious with floor to ceiling period windows and shutters, topped off by exquisite design and a log burner. There's also a TV room with comfy seating, a great alternative with a mixed age group for a bit of space. A formal wood panelled stately dining room has a long sociable table, perfect for family meals or special celebrations. For breakfast and less formal meals, the fully equipped kitchen has a table with chairs for 8 guests.
The outdoor swimming pool (available between April and September) is a fabulous focus at Marrington Hall. Surrounded by mature gardens and a pretty terrace with loungers, this is where the fun happens. On a sunny day, sit outside sipping a Pimms while the children splash about or try out the climbing frame and outdoor table tennis. Extended gardens, grounds and lawns provide ambient spots for family picnics and evening drinks. The terrace is popular at night for sitting next to the firepit toasting marshmallows while the sun goes down.
Bedrooms are a mix of kings or twins, bright rooms with large windows and impeccable decoration. Two have en suites although there are two family bathrooms and a ground floor wet room to share.

There is no shortage of historic attractions to visit in border country, with castles at Welshpool, Montgomery and Shrewsbury and a steam railway at Welshpool. Ironbridge is within easy reach for a day out too.
