Large seaside bunkhouse near Porthleven sleeping up to 17 for large groups of family and friends, near fabulous Cornish beaches

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. National Trust - Penrose Bunkhouse, Cornwall, sleeps 12 - 17 in 3 bedrooms.

Penrose Bunkhouse, managed by the National Trust, is located in a small quiet hamlet on the edges of the Penrose Estate near Helston in Cornwall. Ideally located for activity holidays.

Penrose is located right on the South West Coast Path so is an ideal base for a walking holiday, with lots of local circular walks to enjoy from the bunkhouse and direct access to the Penrose Estate and Loe Pool where there are also numerous cycling routes and an outdoor gym to enjoy. Penrose is close to the local fishing village of Porthleven and surrounded by some of the best beaches in the UK.

This simple bunkhouse comprises self catering accommodation for up to 17 people, with a shared spacious living, kitchen and dining area with a wood burner to keep you warm in the winter months. 2 dorms (sleeping 7 and 8) in a combination of beds and bunks with plenty of room in each dorm for storing personal kit - please note that one of them is accessed via an external access.

There's separate sleeping accommodation outside the main building in one of the outhouses where there is a twin room. The complex has a boot and drying room ideal for waterproofs, buoyancy aides and wetsuits. There is an additional basic but large educational room for wet days or for additional kit store, and a ping pong table.

Surrounded by AONB and SSSI the bunkhouse is a fantastic learning base for studying the local flora and fauna of the Lizard and close to the Lizard National Nature Reserve. The bunkhouse is also ideally located for archaeology and photography groups or large private parties looking to enjoy some time in beautiful surroundings.
