The concept of Private Wild Camp is a night away immersed in the woodland with lots of fun things to do in a sociable outdoor space. It is not a party site but somewhere to truly get back to nature and enjoy spending quality time with loved ones. It is a great option for all kinds of groups including friends, families, business groups, hens and stags. The site is booked on an exclusive hire basis.
Private Wild Camp is located on a working dairy farm just a short distance from Cornwall's major surf scene. Arrive for the night with a sleeping bag, warm clothes and some food, ready to relax. You'll be renting an exclusive camp just for your group. The 4 bell tents are kitted out with 4 blow-up airbeds, just bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.
You might have spent the evening engaging in woodland games such as axe throwing, Giant Jenga or Log Tease. Or you might have cooked a feast on the barbecue and sat around under the parachute canopy area, chatting next to the firepit until the early hours. It's all very easygoing. Your camp comes with a kitchen marquee and large table, complete with enamel plates, cutlery, a basic gas camp hob and of course covered brick BBQ.
The water for washing up is carried in from the local farm well and you'll find areas to wash your hands, along with rustic gas showers and very clean composting loos.
Why not book some extra daytime activities in Newquay such as woodland yoga and surfing? There are plenty of options for thrill-seekers too, including Monster SUP sessions using a giant paddleboard and kayak. Or try out your deep water jumps with the coasteering session. Activities can be tailored to your group or you can join one of our existing daily sessions.
There are many other places worth exploring too, with Private Wild Camp close to the beautiful beach at Perranporth and the St Agnes Heritage Coast. Truro is in the opposite direction but a good day out looking at its historic cathedral and sampling its wide range of cafes and restaurants. Let us know if you'd like some suggestions.
