Windermere Marina Village offers quality self catering accommodation in a secluded yet central location, overlooking Lake Windermere. We offer apartments with between 1 and 5 bedrooms and can accommodate groups of various sizes and requirements. This is a fabulous venue for getting together with extended family members, groups of friends and families, or for walking and activity-based short breaks.

Our luxury apartments overlook our large private marina with views over 300 boats, yet we're only a 10 minute lakeside walk from the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, the Lake District's number one destination for all ages. There's plenty to do while staying here - water-based activities, great walking, or visit some of the many local family friendly attractions.

The Penthouse - Windermere Apartment 43 sleeps up to 10 guests for breaks from 2 to 14 nights. The apartment features 5 bedrooms, open plan living, dining and kitchen, a 2nd living area with ample seating for 10 people alongside 5 bathrooms and a utility complete with a wine fridge and washing machine. For larger groups we can offer additional apartments in the same block - offering privacy but convenience to move between apartments.

Apartment 44 is a second floor bright and modern apartment for up to 4 people. This one bedroom property is a great option for couples or families who don’t need a separate 2nd bedroom. The large living area features a ‘one wall’ kitchen, dining area and pull down bed which folds away when not in use. A great option for those looking for extra privacy as part of a larger group staying at Windermere Marina Village.

The accessible apartments 45 and 46 have level access and features for guests who require step free access. Sleeping 8 and 4 respectively, these neighbouring properties are ideal for group stays. Windermere Apartment 46 also accept up to 2 dogs by prior arrangement.

Expect great views across the marina from the private balconies or terraces, which all have a dining table and chairs to enjoy alfresco dining whilst watching the sun set.

Next to the apartments is the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant which is open daily, and for larger groups the restaurant is available for private parties, weddings or birthday celebrations. With stunning views across the marina and a wide and varied menu it’s a great location to celebrate that special occasion!

The Penthouse apartment does not accept pets. Please ask about our pet friendly properties for up to 6 people that accept up to 2 well behaved dogs.

Disabled Facilities

Please ask about our accessible ground floor apartments for up to 8.

WiFi available and mobile signals are good but limited to 3G. There is no landline, but a pay phone can be found nearby.

Extremely well equipped kitchens including full size hob, ovens, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer.

Open plan kitchen, dining and living accommodation.

Sitting Room

Grey Chesterfield leather sofas provide you with a comfortable seating in the lounge. Lots of additional seating can be found in the top floor den.

TV and Music Facilities

5 TVs in the Penthouse - so no arguments. There is also a DVD and Blueray Player, MP3 socket and speakers. All apartments have a TV.

Games Room

The top floor in the Penthouse provides seating for all the party with a flatscreen TV and DVD/Blueray Player.

Heating and Open Fires

Gas fired central heating throughout.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms in Penthouse are en suite, master bedroom is superking, others as doubles or twins to suit. Top floor is double pull down.

Linen

All linen and towels are included within our rental cost.

Bathrooms

Beautifully appointed with modern bathroom suites, pan showers, tiled throughout and heated towel rails.

Children's Facilities

A childrens' play area can be found on site.

Outdoor

A beach and barbecue area overlooking Windermere Lake provides a great alfresco dining area.

As a resident of Windermere Marina Village you can enjoy access to nearby leisure facilities.

The apartment has two parking spaces. Additional on site parking is available on a first come first served basis.
