Elegant townhouse in Buxton sleeping 14, ideal for family celebrations and for exploring the Peak District

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
Buxton Lodge, Buxton, Derbyshire, Peak District, sleeps 14 in 7 bedrooms.

Situated in a quiet residential area, in a mid-terraced position, within walking distance of all of Buxton's highlights, this is the ideal venue for a family holiday to suit all generations. Whatever your age or interests, this famous spa town has something to offer: ambience; architecture; Pavilion Gardens; Opera House; eateries; playground; shops and a wonderful annual music festival. Groups of couples looking to combine all of this with exploration of Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park will love the flexibility of this location.

Recently renovated and refurbished throughout, with beautiful quality fabrics and furnishings, the layout and decor of Buxton Lodge has been specifically designed with group living and dining in mind.

The spacious main lounge enjoys the full width of the double-fronted entrance, with lots of natural light from the two large bay windows. Two plush seating areas, with luxurious sofas and armchairs for lounging around, keep everyone feeling close whether they prefer to converse around the log-burner at one end or watch the News at the other. The snug and the cellar's games and entertainment room provide alternative spaces for children, film buffs or guests seeking a cosy corner in which to enjoy a good book.

This opulent, 7 bedroom property boasts 6 superb bathrooms (3 en suite) and two family bedrooms. The stylish bathrooms, brand new king-sized beds, high quality linen and soft furnishings add the modern touches of luxury one would desire in such a refined property of this period.

Buxton Lodge has an impressive and superbly equipped designer kitchen, with French grey finish, granite work surfaces and solid wood floors through to the dining room. It is the perfect hub for whole group wining and dining, and cleverly designed to partially separate the main food preparation area from the dish-washing facilities, meaning used equipment can be stored out of sight and mind whilst eating. Whether rustling up a lunchtime BBQ with purchases from the local butcher's shop in the Market Place or creating a feast for the 16 seat dining table with Chatsworth Farmshop ingredients, you'll find catering here a pleasure.
