Athina is a self-catering holiday cottage sleeping up to 20 with all the facilities the discerning holidaymaker might wish for including a heated indoor swimming and a jacuzzi/hot tub. Athina also has a large games room with full size pool table, table tennis table and dart board. WiFi and Sky TV package available.

Athina is ideal for family parties and gatherings, group holidays, hen parties, Christmas and New Year breaks, or any special occasion with friends and family when you are looking for something different.

Athina is well positioned in a village location in Welton, in the heart of Lincolnshire and on the edge of the Wolds. The historic cathedral city of Lincoln is only a short journey away, and is well-known for its many old churches and other visitor attractions, including the world famous Christmas market each December.

Athina is spacious, with plenty of room for everybody to enjoy all the privacy they want. In addition to the main living area, there is an additional living room with a balcony situated on the first floor and overlooking the main garden. This living room has an open plan kitchen area, fully fitted with units, hob and fridge. Ideal if you have young children to cater for or just to sit and relax away from the main living room. The cottage also has a large dining room with seating for up to 20 with two high chairs for younger visitors.

There are a total of 10 bedrooms at Athina: 2 with king beds with ensuite facilities, 1 with double bed, 5 with twin beds, one triple bedroom and one single bedroom with an en suite Jack and Jill shower room. There are a total of seven bath or shower rooms plus an additional toilet. There are two cots available.

The village pub close by serves the usual pub fayre and there is also a golf club close by open to the public and including a restaurant serving good value food.

There is a large parking area suitable for 10+ cars

Large sitting room with 4 large leather sofas, 40" TV with Sky Sports package and digital TV. Bluetooth docking station to play music.

TV and Music Facilities

Large 40" TV with full Sky Sports package in main living room, TV in first floor lounge, 2 main bedrooms and kitchen with digital Freeview. iPod dock.

Games Room

Large games room with full size pool table, table tennis table and dartboard. We also have board games available.

Heating and Open Fires

Gas central heating throughout the house.

Bedrooms

10 bedrooms sleeping 20: 2 kingsize en suite rooms, 1double, 5 twins, 1 triple room and 1 single room. Also 2 cots available.

Linen

All bed linen, hand towels and tea towels are provided.

Bathrooms

Two en suite shower rooms, one en suite Jack and Jill shower room, family bathroom plus additional 4 shower rooms.

Children's Facilities

Two cots and two high chairs available.

Outdoor

Large garden areas to the front and rear with barbecue and garden furniture. There is also a river running at the bottom of the rear garden.

Swimming Pool

Very large indoor heated swimming pool with hot tub in the pool area.

Parking

There is private parking available for 10+ cars to the front of the property.

Smoking

No smoking is allowed in the property. Sand buckets provided for outside smoking.

Booking Information

Weekly and weekend changeover days are Friday. A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance 8 weeks prior to your visit. A £500 security deposit is payable when balance is due.

Athina is situated in a sleepy village 6 miles outside of Lincoln. Near Lincolnshire Wolds.

Nearest shops are approx half mile from the house and within easy walking distance.
The local public house is the Black Bull and within walking distance approx half mile away. Also local fish and chip shop, Indian take away and Falconer Restaurant at local golf club are all close by.
Nearest airport is East Midlands which is approximately 60 miles away.
The nearest train station is Lincoln, approximately 6 miles away.
There is a bus stop outside the house taking you into Lincoln.
