Located in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Just 7 miles north of Dunoon, this historic house is set within the grounds of the enchanting Botanic Gardens, providing a unique large group accommodation destination ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.

Benmore Outdoor Centre is a 19th century listed manor house, modernised to provide comfortable group accommodation for up to 127 across 4 wings. Bedrooms range from dorm style quarters, sleeping 6 to 10 in bunks, to twin rooms, some with en suite facilities.

Two dining rooms seat 70 and 40 respectively, with extra space available if needed. There are several social rooms in the house which can be used for a range of functions or just for gathering your group together. Games facilities include table tennis, pool table and table football.

At Benmore Outdoor Centre we provide catered accommodation, venue hire and events with or without instructed outdoor activities. Please ask about the activities we can offer.

We also have Bernice, a self-catering accommodation farmhouse and cottage option close by along Loch Eck, and suited to smaller self-catering groups seeking a rural retreat. Bernice sleeps up to 22.

Interactive smartboards, projection facilities and speaker system/disco lights are available.

Facilities available include table tennis, pool table, table football.

Bedrooms: 4 en suite twin, 1 en suite single; dorms: 1x 5 bed en suite, 8x 6 bed, 6x 8 bed, 1x 10 bed, 3 twin (shared bathroom), 1x 3 bed.

Linen

Bedding is provided but please bring your own towels.

Bathrooms

In addition to the en suite bedrooms, there are 10 shower rooms with toilet facilities.

Outdoor

Outdoor activities are bookable as instructional packages for groups of 10.

Swimming Pool

No pool on site. 2 swimming pools are available nearby in Dunoon and an outdoor pool over in Gourock.

Parking

There is parking for around 20 vehicles.

Smoking

Benmore is a no smoking site.

Dunoon (6.5 miles).
Cot House Services (2.6 miles).
There are a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in Dunoon (6.5 miles).
Glasgow Airport is 29 miles away, a journey of 90 minutes including a ferry crossing.
Gourock station is 11 miles away via ferry crossing. Arrochar & Tarbert station is 33.8 miles away. Both directly connect to Glasgow.
Limited summer bus service from Benmore Botanic Gardens (0.7 miles); more bus services are available at Cot House (2.5 miles).
