Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Drovers Rest Farm, Hay on Wye, Herefordshire, sleeps 4 - 36 in 18 bedrooms.

Accommodation in 3 cottages and 6 Safari glamping tents, with gatherings in our two barns for communal teaching and gathering.
Strong emphasis, as a teaching farm, on where your food comes from and support for sustainable farming, soil regeneration, CO2 reduction, organic, free range and permaculture growing practices – combined with fun outdoor activities such as herding sheep, camp fires, orienteering, canoeing, foraging and team building activities.

Variable mobile signal. Free high speed WiFi is available in all units.

Yes. Showers, communal barns and Safari tents have disabled access, latest regs approved.

Pets

Dogs welcome (2 per unit max).

Kitchen

Each unit has its own well equipped kitchen. There's also a restaurant for high tea, breakfasts, dinner, lunches, whatever your group desires just ask

Dining Room

Each accommodation has its own dining facilities. The Barn has dining space for 100. All our food is cooked outdoor on open fires.

Sitting Room

Each Safari tent and cottage has a lounge area. Movie screenings can be organised in the outdoor barn.

TV and Music Facilities

TV and Sky TV in the 3 cottages.

Games Room

Games, books, movie night, cocktail bar! Ping pong table.

Heating and Open Fires

All Safari tents and cottages have wood burners. Fire bowl for groups to sit around outdoors.

Bedrooms

2 bedrooms in each tent or cottage, mix of doubles and twins. Sleeps 4 people. Ask about a 3rd child. Altogether sleeping 36 people in total.

Linen

Lush Egyptian cotton linen and towels provided at no extra charge. Beds already made up when you arrive.

Bathrooms

Each Safari tent has its own shower in the stable block. Shepherd's Shack and Drover's Cottage have en suites, The Cart House has a shared bathroom.

Children's Facilities

Child friendly accommodation. Lots of animals, farm activities, play area, space to run around.

Outdoor

Campfire. Farm activities, play area. Outside dining and seating with all accommodation too. Bistro sets and outdoor sofas.

Swimming Pool

There is no swimming pool on the property. Swimming nearby. Also wild swimming on the nearby River Wye.

No smoking in the accommodation.
