The five public rooms at ground floor, and the majority of the bedrooms above, are south facing with stunning river and hill views. The house is stocked with logs and kindling for the open fires and wood burning stove in the public rooms.
Set within beautiful, secluded riverside gardens but only a short, scenic, walk away from the centre of historic Dunkeld. The village lies at the gateway to highland Perthshire in an area well known for its natural scenic beauty, its history and culture and its proximity to a wide range of outdoor pursuits.
Eastwood has a wonderfully rich and varied history. Originally part of the Atholl Estates, it was for many years a tranquil highland retreat welcoming renowned guests such as Sir John Everett Millais, Lillie Langtry, David Lloyd George, Stanley Baldwin and, most famously, Beatrix Potter who wrote the stories of both Peter Rabbit and Jeremy Fisher during her summer here in 1893.
