The house offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to 20 in 9 bedrooms and is the perfect choice for gatherings of family and friends, special occasions and retreats.

The five public rooms at ground floor, and the majority of the bedrooms above, are south facing with stunning river and hill views. The house is stocked with logs and kindling for the open fires and wood burning stove in the public rooms.

Set within beautiful, secluded riverside gardens but only a short, scenic, walk away from the centre of historic Dunkeld. The village lies at the gateway to highland Perthshire in an area well known for its natural scenic beauty, its history and culture and its proximity to a wide range of outdoor pursuits.

Eastwood has a wonderfully rich and varied history. Originally part of the Atholl Estates, it was for many years a tranquil highland retreat welcoming renowned guests such as Sir John Everett Millais, Lillie Langtry, David Lloyd George, Stanley Baldwin and, most famously, Beatrix Potter who wrote the stories of both Peter Rabbit and Jeremy Fisher during her summer here in 1893.

Eastwood offers a magical stay for visitors in the comfort and beauty of this historic house, its stunning setting and as the perfect base from which to explore all that Highland Perthshire has to offer.

Drawing, Morning and kitchen sitting rooms - all comfortable rooms with open fires, sunny outlooks to river and gardens, 2 with French doors.

Kitchen

Kitchen and butlers pantry are well equipped with gas fired 4 oven AGA, 2 electric ovens, microwave, 2 ring gas hob, 2 fridges, freeze, dishwasher.

TV and Music Facilities

42 inch smart TV, Freesat and Bluetooth music player kitchen sitting room.

Heating and Open Fires

Gas fired central heating throughout, working open fires in downstairs public rooms and wood burning stove in main entrance hall.

Bedrooms

3 double rooms, 1 king room, 1 family room with 1 king bed and 2 single beds, 4 twin or superking rooms (guest choice).

Linen

Bed linen provided and beds made up for arrival. Towels and tea towels provided.

Bathrooms

6 bathrooms in total. Ground floor - shower and WC room; first floor - 3 shower and WC rooms, 1 bath and WC room, 1 with bath, shower and WC.

Children's Facilities

1 cot, 1 travel cot, 2 high chairs and 1 toddler/young child chair.

Outdoor

Large private garden with seating areas, barbecue and fire pit, football goals and outdoor play equipment.

There is no swimming pool at the house.

Parking for 8 cars is available at the house entrance area.

The house and covered storage areas to the rear are all non-smoking.

Booking Information

Minimum booking: 3 nights (Ex. July, Aug, Christmas, NY)
Bookings secured with 30% deposit with balance payments due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
Bookings made less than 12 weeks prior to arrival will be charged in full.
A refundable, security deposit of ÂŁ500 is required.
No Stag or Hen parties.
