Situated in the village of Govilon  on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons, Govilon Old School House offers scenic accommodation for up to 51 people, on either a catered or self-catered basis. The building offers an excellent and convenient base for groups of all kinds - families and friends for weekends and short breaks together, special interest groups and clubs, youth groups, and those looking for activity-filled adventures in the Brecon Beacons. Activities may be booked with the Centre, subject to availability, at an extra cost.

Set in a conservation area, the former village school is an old sandstone-built Victorian building which retains its character and charm. It has been converted to offer accommodation in simple but comfortable surroundings. Visiting groups always have sole occupancy, allowing the Centre to become their home for the duration of their stay with us.

Accommodation is in dormitory style rooms with bunk or single beds and adjacent washing/toilet facilities.

The main focal point of the Centre is the dining/common room which is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and TV/DVD. There is also a large, well-equipped semi-commercial kitchen. At the rear of the main building there is a large separate dormitory, which visitors can use as an extra space to relax, play games or make plans for the following day. A separate building houses the well-stocked equipment store and a highly-efficient drying room. Visiting groups are very welcome to use the grounds for recreation or barbecues.
