In both properties there are large dining tables enabling all parties to dine together. We can offer a table extension to seat up to 30 in Holmes Barn if both properties are hired together. Large roomy farmhouse kitchens with full size range cookers, in the lounge areas there are plenty of easy chairs and sofas.
Upstairs are cosy bedrooms with duvets and pillows (with protectors) provided. Bed linen and towels are not included in our price but can be hired on request. Each cottage has single beds or adult bunk beds, extra mattresses and pullout beds/futons/bed settees make up the remaining beds.
The holiday homes are centrally heated throughout and also have free wireless Internet access (with your own laptop), and they both have fridge, freezers, microwave ovens and dishwashers (there will be a small amount of powder available for the start of your holiday). There is a washing machine in both cottages.
Ample car parking near the property, and outside there are lawned areas and fields for games, with a large brick barbecue provided outside each cottage. Hot tub hire can be arranged for your stay too - please ask.

We are situated in a beautiful rural location with stunning views across the moorlands - the sunsets have to be seen to be believed. We are just off the A623 near the spa town of Buxton and conveniently located to enable guests to visit many of Derbyshire’s attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Castleton with its many caves and much, much more. Nearby attractions include Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House, Castleton Caverns, Peak Rail, Tramways Museum, Alton Towers.
