Here you can chat with the locals, down the real ale and ciders, and try the tasty homemade food.
If you're feeling a little lazy you can catch up together in the house or over drinks taking in the stunning scenery from the shelter of the patio. And there's a hot tub you can hire for the duration of your stay too. Oh, and there's a barbecue too (gotta keep the Dads happy...). The Games Room has a pool table, table football, drinks fridge and a big TV. That pub I mentioned, they'll happily do take-outs too if you don't fancy cooking.
However... if you really want to do something energetic, we can offer you paintballing, archery, air gun shooting, laser tag, splatmaster and clay shooting, all on site. Be sure to book to avoid disappointment - HS Activities.
Not far from beautiful Ross on Wye, Lowe Farm is a perfect base for exploring the local area, with a choice of activities to keep everybody entertained, with horse riding, fishing and golf courses aplenty. Those who enjoy walking have the Brecon Beacons National Park, Black Mountains and the Herefordshire Trail on the doorstep.
Known as the ‘book capital of the world’ Hay-on-Wye, just 22 miles away, is a book lovers paradise. Or for the more cultured visit the stunning Hereford Cathedral, home to the Mappa Mundi as well as King Arthur's stone close by. The Forest of Dean and Ludlow, famous for its food festival, are all within easy reach. Symonds Yat and Yat Rock are worth a visit and well known for its nesting peregrine falcons and wonderful views of the Wye Valley.
