Situated in the quaint Kent countryside between Lynsted and Teynham, these holiday cottages on a beautiful estate is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday in the countryside. The location of the Malt and Pool Houses makes travel to and from London easy, especially via the high speed train service which takes just over an hour. Neighbouring towns and cities such as Canterbury, Whitstable and Broadstairs are also within under 45 minutes.
Please note - these are not party houses. We have near neighbours, so no outdoor noise between 10pm and 8am please.
The Malt House is a truly unique Grade II detached Tudor cottage sleeping 14 or up to 18 when using the sofa beds and z-beds. It is the perfect place for a large family holiday or a trip away with friends. Features such as the four poster bed, en suite bathrooms, two living rooms and downstairs bedroom make this cottage spacious and luxurious for a group gathering. The Malt House has access to large gardens, with an outside seating area and furniture for al fresco evening meals in the summer months. The Malt House has many original features from over 500 years ago. It's the perfect place to unwind and take in the country air.
Or take it easy at the Pool House - a unique and tranquil getaway with your own private pool, located in Teynham, Kent. The Pool House is perfect for UK staycations for couples, small or medium family groups, sleeps 8. If you are looking for accommodation for a large gathering you can use in conjunction with our sister property, The Malt House, giving accommodation for a total of around 26 guests, with both properties located on the same 1.5 acres within a gated secure site.
There is ample free parking. No smoking or loud music please. Pets (dogs) welcome
The Malt House and Pool House are set in the heart of the peaceful Kent countryside but only 3 miles from the market towns of Faversham and Sittingbourne. There are local pubs, cafes and shops just a 5 minute walk away from the house, and it's only 13 miles to the beach for a seaside day out.
