Manorbier Castle House is a truly unique place to stay. Come and explore lovely Pembrokeshire for a great value midweek break!

Strategically positioned above picturesque Manorbier beach in Pembrokeshire, this holiday house near Tenby is ideal for multi generational families, friends, special occasions or intimate wedding parties. The house is a very short walk from the beach (5 minutes), the pub and a very well stocked local shop. All within our beautiful ancient village.

Manorbier Castle House is set within the castle walls of a beautiful Norman castle. The castle is open to visitors during our season (March to November). The Castle House has its own private entrance and courtyard garden with direct access out to the castle gardens. As guests you are welcome to explore all of the castle and gardens during your stay. The visitors leave at 5pm, you then have the castle grounds to yourselves. Drink on the lawn or perhaps a game of croquet? The choice is yours.

The entrance to the house is just inside the castle walls. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating, a beautiful log burner and a window seat with stunning views of the Castle and garden. Plenty of room for relaxing or board games.

Stylish bedrooms in the main house (sleeps 8) are configured as 1 king with en suite shower room and a vaulted ceiling, 1 double with large family bathroom and 2 twins with a shared family bathroom. The Garden room (just across the private courtyard) is ideal for teenagers/families having bunk beds and twin beds and an en suite shower room (sleeps 4).

For catered meals, celebrations and events including weddings, The Vaults at the castle is available for hire, and The Castle Tea Rooms offers drinks and snacks (seasonal).

The kids will never be bored, with plenty of space to let off steam and the castle to explore. Enjoy family days on the beach, with Manorbier being a short walk away for sand castle building and a splash in the sea. Manorbier also has a pub, perfect for a drink on the way back to the castle, or for supper. Ever popular Tenby is a short drive away with many attractions, blue flag beaches and a harbour where you can book marine safaris and hire kayaks.

A private sunny courtyard garden within the castle walls for Castle House. Castle Lodge sits at the top of the driveway with wrap around garden.

Castle House has a well equipped kitchen with range cooker and breakfast table. Castle Lodge has a kitchen with French door access to the garden.

Sitting Room

Castle House has a large lounge with wood stove and TV. Castle Lodge has an open plan lounge kitchen diner with French doors to garden.

Bedrooms

Castle House has 2 doubles and 2 twins in main house and 1 bedroom for 4 in The Hideaway. 2 en suites. Castle Lodge has a double and a twin.

Bathrooms

Castle House has 4 bathrooms, 2 with baths and 2 showers. Castle Lodge has a bathroom with bath and shower over and a downstairs loo.

30% deposit to secure the booking and then the balance (and a £150 security bond) is payable 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

Check in/out days are normally Fridays and Mondays but we can sometimes be flexible so please ask.
