Slightly further away in the beautiful civic centre is the museum offering amazing regularly changing interactive exhibitions. It is definitely worth taking a bus down to Cardiff Bay to see the workings of the barrage bridge and perhaps to take a water taxi ride. For thrill seekers, the speed boat tours are a must for the ride of your lives. Techniquest is a science discovery centre, a fascinating visit for all ages - and educational too. The Millennium Centre is based in The Bay with opportunities to catch up on top West End shows and musicals. Stroll to great pubs and clubs without any need to worry about getting a taxi back at the end of a late night. Couldn't be more perfect.
