Known as "The Pink House", Polzeath House has been in the same family ownership for nearly 80 years. Accessed up a short drive by the Galleon cafe, it stands on a low cliff among its own gardens with rocky steps leading down to the magnificent Polzeath beach. The view over the Atlantic Ocean and Pentire Head is exceptional. Five bedrooms provide a total of 13 beds.
The dining room seats up to 13, which is the maximum number we permit in the house at any time. There are two seating areas in the sitting room, which has views out over the garden to seaward. And in the gardens there are a number of seating areas for alfresco meals.
The Polzeath-Rock-Padstow-Port Isaac area has plenty to offer, from the Camel estuary to walking the unspoilt coastal paths and eating at renowned tables or cosy pubs.
Polzeath enjoys one of England’s finest surfing beaches. The well-known St Enodoc golf course is couple of miles away, Roserrow golf course even closer. Roserrow also has tennis courts and other facilities. Rock, on our side of the Camel estuary, and Padstow, on the far bank, provide all sorts of water sports and dining choices.
The coastline, largely in the care of the National Trust, offers miles of beautiful walking, bird watching and just hanging out.
