There's a spectacular vaulted dining hall able to seat the whole group, making this is a great choice for special occasions. There are 4/5 bedrooms sleeping 12 (the morning room can be arranged as an additional bedroom for the 11th and 12th guests in proper twin beds) - please request this on booking. This provides ground floor space ideal for older members of a multi-generational family group or those who may struggle with stairs.

The City of Wells is just 5 miles away and boasts a glorious Cathedral, moated Bishops Palace and farmers market on a Wednesday and Saturday. Bath, Bristol and Bruton are less than half an hour drive away. Cheddar Gorge, Burrington Coombe and Wookey Hole Caves are all within a 15 minute drive. Longleat House and Safari Park is half an hour away. Also surrounded by very good pubs and restaurants. There is a pub and village shop half a mile from the house, in the village.
