Roebuck's Rose is in the heart of the Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve and within walking distance of the river Thames. This interior designed holiday house near Oxford and sleeping up to 12 is perfect for family holidays and weekends escaping to the country with friends, as well as special occasions. There is a separate dining room to sitting room, 5 bedrooms (two are triples) and 4 bath/shower rooms.

Beautifully landscaped, the courtyard garden is sun-drenched and flower filled with roses climbing the Cotswold stone walls, and beyond you have acres of private land to explore, taking picnics and climbing trees; all making for a seriously special escape. Bathed in sunshine the terrace is ideal for a spot of alfresco dining with a heavenly south facing outside bath to enjoy. There is both dining for 12 and soft seating in the courtyard garden together with further seating in the grassy areas that surround the barn so you can relax and enjoy your break.

Inside, the south facing barn is brilliantly light and airy with a palette of greens and oranges, allowing the modern artwork and quirky pieces to really pop out. Vaulted ceilings and huge windows flood the single storey barn with sunlight. All the rooms have a high level of comfort with our signature comfy beds.

The WiFi is super-fast with speeds of 200mbs which makes it ideal for home working. John, our gardener, has developed some lovely walks all around the 13 acre grounds, with picnic benches, places to climb trees and even a bench to sit and enjoy the sunset. Wonderful walks and cycle routes are right on your doorstep too and the Thames Path is within a few minutes walk through the Nature Reserve. You can hire canoes and paddleboards locally or why not bring your own? You can access the Thames in several places.

Stunning outside bath house with copper/tin bath, hot/cold water and heater so whatever the weather you can bathe. Benches, swings, picnic areas.

There are 5 parking spaces in the shared carpark and an electric car charger.

Smoking

No smoking on the property please. Smokers who use the garden are responsible for the safe disposal of the cigarette butts.

Booking Information

Prices change throughout the year, Contact us for an exact price for your dates. 30% deposit is due if the booking is outside of 8 weeks of travel and full payment or balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Any extras including pets are due with the deposit or are to be paid in full with the balance.
