These two charming Cornish holiday houses near Port Isaac offer lovely accommodation for friends or families getting together for a holiday in a great location. The gardens and grounds are pretty special too with deciduous woodland, a pond, a trickling stream, a ford and outdoor eating areas for barbecues and enjoying the sun. Being a 5 minute drive from beautiful Port Isaac and 15 mins from Polzeath, Daymenr Bay and Trebarwith Strand.
The two properties can be rented separately or together but work very well for multi generational groups where grandparents or young families need a little space away from the bustle. Willow Mill is an upside down house with living accommodation on the first floor to make the most of the outlook. Little Barn is a cute open plan cottage for 4 guests, far enough away for peace and quiet but still part of the main event.
The kitchen in Willow Mill has a Rayburn and modern appliances for group meal preparation. Get the salads ready indoors, throw open the French doors and set the barbecue to work. There is enough room for everyone in the group to eat outside and lots of magical garden for the kids to explore while the grown ups open the fizz. Cosy sitting rooms and wood burning stoves in both houses make this a popular destination in any season.
Bedrooms in both Willow Mill and Little Barn are light and with tasteful design and furnishings. Access to a balcony from the upstairs superking is an extra treat and an excellent corner for a quiet cuppa. A choice of bed sizes makes organising a mixed age group easier, along with plentiful bathroom facilities.
St Kew itself is a pretty village with a traditional pub serving excellent food within walking distance, perfect if you don't feel like cooking. North Cornwall highlights including Polzeath, Rock and Padstow are only a short drive away for watersports, family beach days and fantastic restaurants, including those hosted by Rick Stein and Nathan Outlaw. Bodmin Moor is fantastic for hikes searching for standing stones and amazing waterfalls.
