Recently renovated, The Cider Barn in Fowey is a simply stunning location for any group getaway. The interior is individual and modern, while still retaining many original features. Inside, you’ll find plenty of wide open spaces for socialising, as well as a 16m indoor pool. The barn boasts its own spring water supply straight to the taps, and not only heats all its own hot water, but provides its own electricity, so in terms of eco-sustainability, it’s absolutely fantastic. Outside, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen, wood fired pizza oven, an outdoor shower, and even a games room to keep everyone entertained. The property is located in between the historic town of Fowey and Polkerris, and is close to both smaller local shops and supermarkets.

Inside this super stylish holiday home you’ll find plenty of open plan space for socialising, as well as all the mod cons you could need to make your stay feel relaxed. And now for something completely different…Cornwall Glamping and Cottages are a mixture of cottages and roundhouses, so there is something to suit each member of the group. The conventional cottages are cosy and stylish, with wood burners and lovely features throughout. For an adventure, The Roundhouses are en-suite glamping properties, complete with their own hot tub, kitchen and even underfloor heating! Each property is full of lovely original features, as well as all the modern facilities you could need for a relaxing stay. Situated in peaceful farm land, you’ll have plenty of space for everyone to explore, before coming together for meal times either inside the largest property, The Wheel House, or in one of the gardens where you will find plenty of outdoor seating as well as a BBQ. Four of the cottages also feature their own private hot tub. Location wise, you really are spoilt, you’ll find a range of beaches all within a short driving distance, as well as local food shops such as a deli and artisan bakery within 10 minutes of your door. There are also three fantastic pubs less than 4 miles away.

How dog friendly are the beaches in Cornwall?

Despite finding some restrictions on a number of the beaches during peak season, which tends to run from around Easter to the 1st October, there are a number of amazing dog friendly beaches that are open for walkies all year around. If you’re visiting outside of the peak season then pretty much every beach welcomes dogs. Dog friendly beach maps are available online to help you find one close to your property.

Can I take my dog into restaurants or pubs in cornwall?

It’s always best to double-check before you turn up, but Cornwall really does welcome four-legged companions, so you won’t find it too difficult to find a dog-friendly café, restaurant or pub.

Are there any dog-friendly attractions in Cornwall?

Absolutely! A surprising number of famous sites and attractions now welcome dogs, including the Eden Project where pooches are welcome to enjoy the outside gardens, but not the indoor biomes, as well as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Lappa Valley Steam Railway to name just a few.
