How dog friendly are the beaches in Cornwall?

Despite finding some restrictions on a number of the beaches during peak season, which tends to run from around Easter to the 1st October, there are a number of amazing dog friendly beaches that are open for walkies all year around. If you’re visiting outside of the peak season then pretty much every beach welcomes dogs. Dog friendly beach maps are available online to help you find one close to your property.

Can I take my dog into restaurants or pubs in cornwall?

It’s always best to double-check before you turn up, but Cornwall really does welcome four-legged companions, so you won’t find it too difficult to find a dog-friendly café, restaurant or pub.

Are there any dog-friendly attractions in Cornwall?

Absolutely! A surprising number of famous sites and attractions now welcome dogs, including the Eden Project where pooches are welcome to enjoy the outside gardens, but not the indoor biomes, as well as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Lappa Valley Steam Railway to name just a few.
