Group Accommodation Northallerton
Originally used as an administrative centre by the Vikings, now sitting prettily in Herriot Country, the unspoilt landscape around Northallerton attracts all sorts of outdoor adventurers. The largely Georgian and Edwardian town doesn’t disappoint either, with the High Street bustling on market days (Wednesday and Saturday) and lots of independent shops and restaurants vying for custom. You and your group can also nip into the legendary chain, Betty’s Cafe Tea Rooms, for a restorative brew and a bite of something delicious. Nip to Mount Grace Priory (English Heritage) nearby to see a reconstructed monk’s cell or catch a glimpse of a family of stoats who live in the passages underneath the priory.
