2023Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
The Barn at Black Isle Berries, Tore, Scottish Highlands, sleeps 5-10 in 5 bedrooms.
This comfortable barn accommodation on a working fruit farm is a good base for families, friends and business groups to spend time on the Black Isle for a holiday, special celebration or break away from the workplace. This holiday house near Tore is also only a short drive from Inverness and is on the main A9 offering access from all areas.
The barn was newly constructed 8 years ago and benefits from modern and comfortable easy living including underfloor heating downstairs and open plan design. The kitchen lounge diner is a lovely sociable space for preparing meals, eating together and relaxing, making a plan for the next day's adventures. The barn works well for small corporate gatherings with lots of opportunities for teambuilding including pick your own fruit on the farm as well as local activities including kayaking and climbing.
A bonus of Black Isle Berries Barn is that it has its own farm shop, brimming with local fruit and veg as well as tempting cakes, frothy coffees and ice cream to order. Such a luxury to buy fresh bread and cooked breakfast ingredients each day!
The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor are great for anyone less mobile in your group, and 1 bedroom is fully accessible with an en suite shower room. Accommodation is spacious, light and very pleasant, configured as superkings or twins using zip links. Decor and soft furnishings are contemporary and stylish. Facilities are plentiful with 5 gleaming showers, basins and WCs across the property.
The Black Isle is a walking and cycling paradise, with a trip to Red Rock for some mountain biking a possibility. Take a fishing and dolphin trip from Cromarty and Avoch to explore wonderful marine wildlife, or enjoy some dolphin watching from the shore at Chanonry Point, a short drive away. Museums in Cromarty and Rosemarkie are interesting attractions for a good day out learning about the history of this area and discovering pretty little winding streets with gorgeous fishing cottages and beautiful floral displays. Inverness is a city of 2 parts: the old town, with a cathedral and Victorian market, and the new with an exciting art gallery vibe. It's a must see.
