Museums in Cromarty and Rosemarkie are interesting attractions for a good day out learning about the history of this area and discovering pretty little winding streets with gorgeous fishing cottages and beautiful floral displays. Inverness is a city of 2 parts: the old town, with a cathedral and Victorian market, and the new with an exciting art gallery vibe. It's a must see.
