Chateau Rieutort offers a romantic setting for the perfect wedding celebration.
The chateau allows for the symbolic ceremony to take place on the property, in the park. If you wish to have a church service there are several catholic churches less than 10 km away from the chateau and also an English Church.
At Chateau Rieutort you are free to choose your own caterer, photographer, band, florist, also a wedding planner, although a list of recommended suppliers used previously will be provided to you. You will be required to buy wine from the estate, otherwise corkage fee will be charged (although you can bring your own soft drinks, beer, champagne, spirits). The wedding package includes exclusive use of the chateau, tables and chairs for 100 guests, a reception room where up to 100 guests can be seated, and accommodation. Much bigger events can be hosted at Rieutort but would need to take place outdoors with a marquee (the chateau doesn’t have its own marquee or a dance floor but will provide you a list of suppliers).
Usually the reception (cocktails, dinner, even dancing with music till 4 am) takes place outdoor; however, it can be made partially indoor and partially outdoor depending on weather conditions.
The chateau can provide accommodation for a maximum of 67 guests but if you want to pitch tents in the park for the extra few guests it will not be a problem.

The entire property has WiFi (also the area around the swimming pools).

Accessibility

The chateau has one ground floor room with an en suite shower, however there are two steps in the room. For limited mobility - not disabled guests.

Dog Friendly

There are 3 cats on the property. Guests are authorised to come with pets only if they are accommodated in gites - not in the chateau bedrooms.

Kitchen

Main chateau kitchen is not accessible for guests between May and October. 7 other kitchens (in gites) are fully equipped.

Dining Room

100 guests can be seated in the chateau dining room. Hundreds can be seated in the park. Every gite has also a dining space.

Sitting Room

Sitting area of the chateau is a part of the dining room dominated by the fire place and it adjoins the games room.

TV and Music Facilities

Every gite is equipped with a TV (mostly SMART) and music systems with iPod docks. Among chateau rooms, two have a TV, all rooms have radios.

Games Room

The games room offers billiards, table football, board games and a massage chair. You can play table tennis, pétanque and volleyball in the park.

Heating and Open Fires

Chateau has a central heating system, 2 fire places: in the dining room and in one of the rooms. Gites are heated with reversible air conditioners.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms are equipped with king size beds. In some gites there are single beds available and all over the property there are sofa beds too.

Linen

Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost.

Bathrooms

Every chateau room has an en suite bathroom with a shower and a separate WC. In gites bathrooms are sometimes shared between two rooms.

Children's Facilities

The chateau can offer 3 baby cots if needed.

Outdoor

Every gite has a BBQ, garden furniture and parasols. Garden furniture, beds and parasols by both pools. One of the gites has an outdoor Jacuzzi.

Swimming Pool

Of the two swimming pools, one is heated. When the property is not used exclusively the bigger, heated pool serves as a naturist pool.

Parking

Up to 100 cars can be parked at the domain.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed anywhere indoors. Outdoor we ask you to respect the presence of other guests and smoke at a distance from them.

Booking Information

Rates given are in Euros. Flexible about the changeover days – there is no day imposed. The minimum stay is 2 nights. Indicated prices are for exclusive use of the entire property sleeping a maximum of 67 guests. The chateau offers tailored prices so do not hesitate to make your request.

Chateau Rieutort is located in the south of France, in Languedoc, Herault, between Montagnac and Gignac, on the road D32. For the GPS, put in Saint Pargoire for the town and Rieutort for the street.

12km to the north of Pézenas and 50 km to the west of Montpellier.
Pézenas is the nearest well supplied (in terms of food) shopping town and Clermont l'Herault (in the same distance) is also near.
One of the best restaurants in France is only 7km from the chateau: BK in Montagnac will seduce you with the burst of tastes and quality.
