Dorlands Country House is a beautiful, large property with lots of natural light and space, both inside and out. It has been modernised to a very high standard, whilst retaining the country cottage feel. Dorlands is the perfect place and location to come together and celebrate with family and friends. The house is very well equipped throughout, providing everything you should need for your visit.

This lovely house is set over three floors, and the main living areas and bedrooms enjoy spectacular views. Enjoy a wood burning stove in the winter, they will be laid for arrival; additional logs can be purchased locally.

The luxury Shepherds Hut, "Franky's Hideout" has all the modern luxuries you would want for your stay, a shower, toilet, kitchen area, electric, lighting, purpose built double bed, a wood burning stove and not to mention the very popular pizza oven!

We provide a hot tub on the patio, it is cleaned, filled, heated and treated ready for your use, however, due to the number of people that may use it during your stay, we can only guarantee its use for 3 days , providing the hygiene guidelines are followed.
If other guests are departing on the day of your arrival, the hot tub may not be ready for use until the next morning after your arrival, to allow for the preparation of the tub.
Please bring your own towels for the tub.

Dorlands is easy to reach, situated only 15 minutes drive from M4/M5 yet set in a very peaceful countryside location. Surrounded by 13 acres of pasture and woodland, there are stunning views over the Usk Valley to the Black Mountains, known as 'Uskany'!

The house is ideally located to visit the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Chepstow Racecourse, Tintern Abbey, Brecon Beacons, the market towns of Chepstow and Monmouth, and local Welsh castles. Bristol City Centre is 22.8 miles by car, Bath 35.6 miles and Cardiff 36.9 miles. Further information can be found in the house.
