Fosse Farmhouse is 4 star Gold AA inspected Group Accommodation with 3 stunning holiday cottages sleeping 16 and 2 double bedrooms in Fosse Farmhouse sleeping 4.

We welcome fabulous families with children and dogs, well behaved happy hens, golfing and hiking groups, friends reunited, wedding party guests attending local celebrations, yoga and wellness groups, corporate hospitality including out of office groups and corporate events for day hire and location filming, gatherings at Christmas and New Year, birthday and anniversary celebrations.

We are within walking distance of the stunning Cotswolds village of Castle Combe which has 2 pubs and is Instagram heaven!

There is a group dining room for 16 - 20 in The Stables Cottage, a large adjoining catering kitchen and grounds of 2 acres for alfresco dining.

All our bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with fluffy soft Egyptian cotton towels and crisp cotton bedlinen.

At Fosse Farmhouse we can cater for afternoon tea parties using all our pretty vintage china and cake stands.

Fosse Farmhouse is also popular with fans of the Japanese animation 'KINMOSA!' as it is the film location in England for the hugely successful TV series, movie and manga of the same name.

The property was built by the Duke of Beaufort in 1750 and is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 3 miles from Badminton House, the Dukes ancestral estate.

When visiting the area there is plenty to do, from antique hunting in Tetbury to being pampered in the hot mineral waters at the Thermae Bath Spa. For sports enthusiasts the Badminton Horse Trials takes place during the first weekend in May and is a huge attraction. At Castle Combe Race Circuit there are various motor racing and cycling events throughout the season and immediately opposite the property is one of the best 18 hole golf courses in the country at The Manor House.

Group catering kitchen in The Stables with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, 5 ring gas hob, electric range oven, Nespresso. Fully equipped for 16 - 20.

Dining Room

Each of our 3 cottages have a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The Stables Cottage has a group dining table and chairs for 16 - 20 guests.

Sitting Room

The Stables Cottage has a large group sitting room with TV, group dining table and sofas in the same space. All 3 cottages have sitting rooms and TVs.

TV and Music Facilities

TVs in all bedrooms and reception rooms. DVD players in 2 reception rooms. You are welcome to bring your own wireless or bluetooth speakers.

Games Room

There is no games room, however we have several outdoor games for guests to enjoy in the garden including badminton and swings.

Central heating throughout the property. Open fire in The Garden House sitting room.

Bedrooms

6 en suite in 3 cottages: 2 x 3 (double bed, single bed),1 twin,1 quad (double, 2 single beds), 2 doubles + 2 additional Fosse Farmhouse doubles.

Linen

White Egyptian cotton sheets and pillowcases, with quality duvets. Soft fluffy bath towels, hand towels and face cloths.

Bathrooms

2 bathrooms, 4 shower rooms, 7 WCs in total. Complimentary guest toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion. 2 toilet rolls per bathroom.

Children's Facilities

Garden and orchard of 2 acres with vintage children's rocking horses and swings. Badminton net and quoits provided in the garden during the summer.

Outdoor

Barbecue terrace, large family charcoal BBQ, garden dining furniture. Badminton, boules, quoits, child's swing, rocking horses, hammocks.

Parking

Private off road parking for up to 10 cars.

Smoking

No smoking inside throughout the property. Outdoor ashtrays provided.

Booking Information

Based on 16 people sharing. 2 night minimum stay at weekends. Weekend is Friday – Sunday. 3 night minimum stay mid week, Bank Holiday weekends and Easter. Christmas and New Year 3 night minimum.
Good Housekeeping deposit £300. Cottages can also be rented individually to sleep 4, 6, 10 or 12 guests.
