Holestone Moor Barns Luxury Holiday Cottages, Derbyshire

Sleeps 2 - 13 7 Bedrooms 13 Dining

Big holiday cottages sleeping up to 13 with a games room, perfect for family groups, near the Peak District National Park

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Holestone Moor Barns Luxury Holiday Cottages, Derbyshire, sleeps 2 - 13 in 7 bedrooms.

The Steadings at Holestone Moor Barns comprises 2 cottages sleeping up to 13 (plus 2 cots):
The Barn sleeps 9 with dining for 14
Stables sleep 4 + cot
Generally only available together unless on request.

The cottages are graded 5* Gold and are a safe and very comfortable environment for all members of the family, having been designed to accommodate couples, large extended families or groups of friends. The cottages are particularly ideal for multi-generational family groups, with the Stables perfect for members of the group seeking a little extra privacy.

The Barn has a large living area able to seat all members of a larger group and with a dining table seating 14.

Both cottages retain many of the original features of the old barns including open ceilings, oak beams and exposed stonework. Each cottage has a log burning stove, Freesat TV, DVD and free WiFi.

There's a well-equipped games room with DVD room and toys for under 5's. Outside is a climbing frame and swing. With open countryside on the door step for walking or cycling, there are many things to do without travelling at all.

The cottages are very well equipped for self-catering or we can recommend excellent local caterers for in house dining. A wide choice of welcoming pubs, restaurants and coffee shops can be found within a few miles and Matlock (10 minutes drive) has good butchers, bakers and a supermarket.

The barns are utterly peaceful and well away from main roads. At almost 1000 feet above sea level you get some wonderful weather effects, and beautiful starry skies. And there's 4 acres of young woodland with summerhouse, wildflower meadow and wildlife pond areas to explore.

You'll receive a personal welcome from Matt who lives adjacent to the cottages. He will be happy to help if it's needed or to leave you to enjoy a peaceful, well-earned holiday break.

The price is fully inclusive and you'll find lots of little extras to start your holiday off.

It's about 20 minutes drive from the M1 and there is ample parking for up to 9 cars.

Because of our proximity to our neighbour’s working dairy farm we regret that we are unable to accept pets.
