Lochieheads House near Cupar is a special place to stay, perfect for special occasions and bringing together friends and family. Recently refurbished yet still full of original Georgian features, the house provides luxury accommodation on an estate that enjoys views of East and West Lomond Hills. Lochieheads enjoys a private setting without being too far from major towns, cities and transport links.

This country mansion oozes relaxed opulence. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for preparing group meals. Ask the owners about hiring in a private chef to cook for a special occasion, to be served in the spacious formal dining room next to the fire. Afterwards retire to Lochieheads' private bar for a wee dram or to the games room to shoot some pool. The lounge is a lovely traditional room with leather sofas, sash windows, reading area and a log stove.

Most of the bedrooms have superking beds for maximum comfort with stylish soft furnishings and they all have en suite shower rooms. Many have stunning estate and hill views through large picture windows. There are 8 bathrooms in all, 2 with baths.

The grounds at Lochieheads are special too, and just waiting to be discovered, with a pretty Victorian walled garden set within the 4 acres of grounds. Relax on the extensive lawns, or challenge your group to a game of croquet in front of the house.

This handsome property is a good base for exploring North Fife and the surrounding area. For golf enthusiasts, Fife is blessed with many great courses and the home of golf, St Andrews, can be reached in around half an hour. The world renowned Carnoustie is only a short drive from Lochieheads too. Maspie Den in nearby Falkland is a pretty spectacular waterfall walk, definitely worth a trip. Further afield is the East Neuk of Fife, with pretty fishing villages, stunning beaches and opportunities to see fascinating wildlife.

Deposit of 50% to secure booking, balance due 30 days prior to stay. A good housekeeping refundable deposit of £600 is required. Check in after 4pm, check out by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out available. Minimum stay 3 nights during high season. No stag/hen parties or events.

Cupar has a Tesco Superstore, Lidl and Aldi. Auchtermuchty has Co-op Food and a Premier Convenience Store.
Cupar has The Boudingait, Station Bar and Walkers Tavern. Plenty more choice in St Andrews.
Edinburgh Airport is 40 minutes away.
Ladybank Railway Station is under 10 minutes.
