Different sized accommodation means that the sleeps 6 options work well for larger families whereas the smaller units are popular with couples or a few friends - and different families or generations within the same group can enjoy some space and privacy too.

A 5 minute drive from lovely Lynton and Lynmouth on the North Devon coast, Moor and Sea Holidays is a really good choice for 3 generation families, friends, special interest groups and even weddings. There is an events field which is used for weddings and even wild camping. The owners have links to a number of local activity providers so you might opt for an art course, foraging or even astronomy with a group of like-minded loved ones.

The 6 smaller cottages are terraced and the 2 larger ones detached. Open plan living creates light, airy and very sociable spaces where you can enjoy being together. All of the kitchens are well equipped with modern conveniences although it is worth asking about different catering options if you fancy a break from cooking. Lounges have comfy yet cool sofas and are great for relaxing in front of the Smart TVs, all set up with Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is French door access to individual patios in all of the cottages.

Accommodation is a combination of doubles and twins, peaceful sanctuaries with high quality bed linens and soft furnishings. A mix of showers and baths comprise the bathroom facilities.

Just being at Moor and Sea Holidays is enjoyable but getting out and about is easy too. The South West Coastal Path runs close by the cottages and award winning Surf Reserve beaches including Lee Bay, Woolacombe and Croyde are not far, as well as lots of fun family activities. Lynton and Lynmouth are often described as where Exmoor meets the sea. Definitely visit the cliff railway to take advantage of jaw dropping sea views.

Well equipped kitchens. Self service laundry room for guests to use. Dishwasher and washer dryers in larger properties.
Dining in each cottage for the number of guests. Outside patio areas for barbecues with seating.
Open plan contemporary lounges with comfy sofas, TVs and access to patios.
TVs in lounges. Amazon Prime and Netflix.
High speed WiFi is available throughout.
There is no games room. but there are two 6 acre fields and outdoor games available.
Central heating. Firepits outside larger cottages as well as a large fire pit in the field for larger gatherings.
The smaller cottages have double bedrooms and the larger ones doubles and twins. Sofa beds.
Luxury soft bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
All smaller cottages have 1 bathroom. 3 have showers and 3 baths. The sleeps 6 cottages have 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bath and 1 with a walk in shower.
Accommodation is on the ground floor. No steps.
Travel cots and high chairs are available.
Newly landscaped gardens, patios and seating areas. Wild flower meadow and views of Exmoor. Field for wild camping and equipment hire.
There is no pool.
Off road secure parking. EV Charger on site.
No smoking please.
Skylark, Rock Pipit and Whitebeam are dog friendly.

Location

Located on Exmoor and near the North Devon coast, 5 minutes from Lynmouth and Lynton. 30 minutes from Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. M5 1 hour and 30 minutes. Coastal Path and local beaches 5 minutes.
Lynton and Lynmouth. Plenty of quaint streets, cafes, and a beach (sandy at low tide).
Barbrook Stores. Lynton has a Costcutter and a Londis. Ilfracombe has a Tesco, Lidl and Co-op Food, or a choice of food supermarket delivery options.
The Village Inn Barbrook a Micro Brewery and fantastic Thai food plus a wealth of choice in Lynton and Lynmouth.
