This 16th century manor house near Leamington Spa is popular for friends and multi generation family gatherings and holidays but equally for weddings and business breaks away from the office, with function spaces available. The rural location and 250 acres of pretty countryside makes it ideal for those looking for some rest and relaxation, and there's also good road access for visitors travelling from different parts of the UK.
An events barn on site can accommodate events for 40 seated and a marquee too. Catering is available for events.
The driveway leads to an impressive manor farmhouse set in its own grounds and gardens with a private lake glade. The beautifully crafted wooden pergola, the Orchard Bothy, is a focal point, somewhere to gather undercover outside, perfect for wedding ceremonies or socialising together on comfy sofas. The house retains many original features such as beams and cute wooden staircases but is still a hugely comfortable space with modern conveniences. The dining room has a gorgeous vaulted ceiling and is a fantastic communal area for eating together, and also a handy space for a board meeting at a business event.
Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, all with king size beds, TVs and individually designed colourful soft furnishings. There are 2 four-posters available for couples or even as a bridal suite after a wedding. En suite facilities in each offer a separate shower and bath.
Further accommodation includes a delightful en suite luxury chalet in a secluded lake glade and 4 pods, 2 en suite. This glamping is comfortable and stylish.
Extensive local footpaths lead to local pubs and beyond. Royal Leamington Spa is worth a visit to explore the many tours and trails to discover the history of local architecture and horticulture. Hire a boat on the River Leam and take in the many tranquil green spaces. Stratford-upon-Avon is under an hour away, a chance to look around all of the Shakespeare attractions and watch a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Kenilworth and Warwick are nearby castles.
