Overlooked by the beautiful ruin of the eponymous castle, the village of Corfe in the Purbeck Hills is a great place for a group holiday. A steam railway runs through the 1950’s style Castle Corfe station, where enthusiasts can catch a train to Swanage on the Swanage Railway. There are even steam galas on some weekends.
