Group Accommodation Padstow
Often jokingly referred to as Padstein, because of its close connection with celebrity chef Rick Stein, Padstow is a little seaside town in North Cornwall with food close to its big heart. Streets bustle with a mix of fishermen’s cottages and merchant’s houses, and tourists, looking to try out the Cornish cream teas, and super-fresh seafood at big name restaurants. Old traditions still play out here too, with May 1st seeing the ancient Obby ‘Oss festival where men dressed as horses dance through the streets. Once you’ve explored the town, you can take a ferry across to Rock or, if cycling is more your thing, then Padstow is the start of the Camel Trail, a 17-mile route along the River Camel which ends at Bodmin Moor that can either be walked or cycled.
