From our doorstep you can venture into the Yorkshire Dales National Park with numerous walking and cycling opportunities, a host of charming villages and places of interest. This holiday house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales is open all year round to welcome families, friends and groups who wish to book the whole house for their exclusive use. With its spacious rooms and communal areas, the house is ideal for larger get-togethers and house parties.
Book online is available for 'Self-catered' stays. We'll generally be here to welcome you, then let you settle yourselves in and relax. Local shops and restaurants will help with your independent catering needs throughout your stay or we can provide you with our 'self-catered dining options' menu. You can then be left to your own devices but there is a wealth of information in the lodge on walks and places of interest.
If you'd prefer the 'hosted' option, generally available in Spring and Autumn, we will provide a delicious Yorkshire breakfast each morning, tea/coffee facilities in the rooms and lounge, a freshly baked cake or cookies each afternoon, an evening meal from our menu choices on request for which there is a further charge, and light the fire in the winter months. By having a chat, we can tailor make your stay for you, especially if it's a special occasion.
