Kinclune House, a fabulous family holiday house near Kirriemuir, is interior designed in collaboration with award winning Author Interiors, and a wonderful venue for groups to celebrate special occasions and create memories.
The kitchen-dining room is ideal for celebratory dinners with a banquet table for up to 14 guests. While the kitchen provides everything you would need to create your own delicious meals, we can also arrange excellent in-house catering for a range of budgets. Guests can socialise in the drawing room with an open fire and panoramic views or cosy down in the snug with a smart TV and a wide selection of board games.
There are five characterful and individual double bedrooms in the main house, including a decadent Master (or honeymoon suite) with en suite bathroom with double ended bath as well as a separate en suite shower room. The four other bedrooms share three further luxurious bathrooms offering guests a choice of walk-in showers or large traditional tubs.
The Annex occupies two floors at the back of the house and was the former servants' quarters. Also newly refurbished, it has its own kitchen-living room with wood burning stove and smart TV. It offers an ideal family suite or a bolthole for the teenagers, with a master bedroom and en suite shower room and an adjoining twin (or king) bedroom.
There is a large garden with traditional pergola with seating and the property welcomes up to three dogs. With so much to see and do on the 800 acre estate and in the surrounding area; rural Angus is a hidden gem with iconic hills, wildlife and outdoor activities aplenty, from hunting and fishing to horse-riding. Activities are also available on the estate itself, which won the RSPB Nature of Scotland Awards in 2021 for their organic, nature-friendly management of diverse upland habitats with native cattle and Scottish Highland ponies. The Osprey Annex takes its name from the two pairs of osprey which nest on the estate each spring.
